City Soundproofing offers a most complete line of pad type mountings which provide excellent high frequency sound attenuation and can be used effectively to prevent shock and vibration transmission in non-critical installations.
For vibration isolation they are primarily limited to medium and high speed equipment and are generally economical only with light and medium weight equipment. Heavier capacity pad mountings approach the cost of more efficient steel spring isolators.

Convenient, Cut-What-you-Need Pad Mounts
Our new City Soundproofing Maxi-Flex Neoprene Pads are molded in standard size sheets - 18" x 18" x 3/4" thick (457 x 457 x 19 mm) consisting of 2" (51 mm) square segments.
These segments are separated by a thin web that can easily be cut to fit required loading and shape of equipment base. They provide excellent high frequency sound attenuation and can be used effectively to prevent shock and vibration transmission in non-critical installations.
City Soundproofing Maxi-Flex Pads are available in four color coded loading types (Black is Standard), which will satisfy a wide range of load/defection requirements.

For increased deflection, City Soundproofing Maxi-Flex Pads can be stacked with 16 guage (1.6 mm) shims separating the layers.
City Soundproofing Shear-Flex Neoprene Pads
City Soundproofing Shear-Flex is a resilient cross-ribbed pad molded in high quality oil-resistent neoprene elastomer. It is available in three durometers for standard, light and heavy duty applications. City Soundproofing Shear-Flex is molded 3/8" thick in standard size sheets 18" x 36" and 18" x 18".

Alternately Raised Ribs

No Bolting
The exceptional gripping qualities of Shear-fFlex eliminate the need for bolting or cementing in most installations. Adhesive is available for applications having severe horizontal thrust.
Easy to Use
Simply cut City Soundproofing Shear-Flex pad lsightly larger than leg or bearing plate of machine using shears or knife. If load on square inch of pad area exceeds recommended load use City Soundproofing Flex Plates.
Multiple Layers
City Soundproofing Shear-Flex may be used in multiple layers to increase deflection. Available pre-assembled cut to specified size and with steel plates cemented between layers.
City Soundproofing Shear-Flex Plates
Especially designed for use under concentrated loads where loading exceeds available bearing area of City Soundproofing Shear-Flex Pads and where machine base is provided with jack screws.
No Bolting Required
Type A consists of a steel bearing plate bonded between a floor-gripping Shear-Flex pad and a non-skid, machine-griping layer of oil-resistant corrugated neoprene.If Bolting is Preferred
Type B is furnished with an islation washer and a 3/4" free hole in the center of the plate. Other hole size and location furnished upon request.For Machines with Jack Screws
Type C makes use of machines own leveling arrangement. Has an extra-thick steel plate and a counter-bored hole in the center of the plate to prevent shifting of the machine leveling bolt.Load Data and Dimensions
