Acoustical Caulk is a very important component of controlling noise and probably the most economical step in the process. Acoustical Caulk should be used wherever building materials meet; such as drywall, wood studs & trim, around all penetrations such as HVAC components, electrical boxes & fixtures and plumbing. Remember "where air goes...noise goes!!"

Acoustical Caulk stays flexible indefinitely. Each tube will caulk about 75 feet of 1/4" seam. You'll need the larger caulking gun from the hardware store.
